2007-2008 Season / Past Events Peoria Area Civic Chorale Opens 25th Silver Anniversary Season with A Sacred Music Review The Peoria Area Civic Chorale will launch its 25th Silver Anniversary Season with a Sacred Music Review at Salem Lutheran Church in Peoria on Sunday afternoon August 5th at 2:30.  The concert, featuring current and former soloists and small ensembles affiliated with the Peoria Area Civic Chorale, will be free and open to the public.  The Peoria Area Civic Chorale’s exciting year of special anniversary performances, guest artists and inspirational music will continue in December with the 2007 An American Family Christmas at the Peoria Civic Center on the 14, 15, & 16th. An American Family Christmas 2007 The Sounds of Glory: Folk Songs, Spirituals & Hymns Spring 2007 Look for a performance near you on Thursday, April 26 (Peoria Central High School), Friday, April 27 (Riverside Community Church) or Sunday, April 29 at Eureka College in Becker Auditorium of the College Cerf Center. The Thursday and Friday performances begin at 7:30 PM while the Sunday performance at Eureka College is a 2:30 PM matinee. Enjoy the Peoria Area Civic Chorale as they take the beautiful sounds of choral singing on the road to various venues in Central Illinois.
