The Civic Chorale seeks to discover and recruit the very finest vocal musicians in Central Illinois.  We are looking for those singers who are both vocally talented and willing to commit to the purpose and mission of the Peoria Area Civic Chorale in a most positive way.  You may be one of those singers and we would like to welcome you to our auditions.  The audition process is given in the positive spirit of the Civic Chorale so with this value in mind, please enter the audition with eagerness, confidence and sing to your fullest potential.  We wish you the very best!

Auditions will take place August 17th, in Wesley Hall of the First United Methodist Church in Peoria on at the intersection of Perry & Main.

What your audition will look like:

• A bit of solo work (maximum of 32 measures), your choice. Bring music for the accompanist.


• Sight-singing


• Tonal memory test
