has invested heavily
in our youth, by adopting
and committing to several
programs to foster and
develp young talent.

Youth Chorus - The Peoria Area Civic Chorale Youth Chorus is
a not-for-profit organization sponsored
by the Peoria Area Civic Chorale. Founded in 1986, its purpose is to enrich the lives of
musically talented youngsters, providing them with the opportunity to experience a wide variety
of musical styles via rehearsals and performances.
Summer Choral Camp - The Summer Choral Camp is for High
School Students, and is held each summer at Eureka College, Eureka, Illinois.
Young Artists Competition -
The Peoria Area Civic Chorale actively encourages young singers by holding an annual
Young Artists Competition. Three winners are chosen to participate in the Spring Concert
series.
Invitational Chorus -
The Peoria Area Civic Chorale sponsors an Invitational Chorus.
These are talented locale high school choirs who are invited to perform during a concert series.
Festival Chorus Program -
The Peoria Area Civic Chorale sponsors the Festival Chorus Program. In the past,
these have been 80 voice choirs made up of talented junior high school or high school singers
from Central Illinois.
